How to Sell Your Equipment on Agrixia

Whether you are upgrading your tractor, selling surplus seeds, or clearing out old tools, Agrixia's marketplace is the fastest way to reach buyers who are specifically looking for agricultural products. Unlike generic platforms like OLX, every buyer on Agrixia is in the agricultural space, which means faster sales and better prices.

Step 1: Create Your Listing

Open the Agrixia app and tap the "+" button at the bottom of the screen. Select "Sell Product" from the options. You will see 49 categories to choose from, organized into groups like Tractors, Harvesters, Seeds, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Tools, and more. Select the category that best matches your product.

Fill in the product details: title, description, price, condition (new, used, or refurbished), and your location. Be specific in your description. Instead of writing "tractor for sale", write "Massey Ferguson 385 (2019 model), 85HP, power steering, new tyres, 2000 hours". Detailed listings get 3x more inquiries than vague ones.

Step 2: Add Great Photos

You can upload up to 8 photos per listing. Take clear, well-lit photos that show the product from multiple angles. For machinery, photograph the front, back, sides, engine, tyres, and any unique features or defects. Listings with 5 or more photos get 4x more views than those with just 1-2 photos.

Tips for better photos: shoot during daytime for natural light, clean the equipment before photographing, and include something for scale (stand next to the tractor, place a ruler next to small parts). Avoid blurry photos and dark images taken inside sheds.

Step 3: Set the Right Price

Pricing is the biggest factor in how fast your product sells. Search for similar products on Agrixia to see what others are charging. Price too high and nobody inquires; price too low and you leave money on the table. A good strategy is to price 5-10% above your minimum acceptable price to leave room for negotiation, since most Pakistani buyers expect to negotiate.

You can also enable the Auction feature for high-value items like tractors and harvesters. Set a starting price and a deadline, and let buyers bid. Auctions often result in higher final prices than fixed-price listings because buyer competition drives the price up.

Step 4: Boost Your Listing

Every listing gets free visibility in search results. But if you want to sell faster, you can use Connects to "feature" your listing. Featured listings appear at the top of search results with a highlighted border, getting up to 10x more views than regular listings.

The Value pack (300 Connects for PKR 1,200) is the best deal for most sellers. You can feature up to 6 listings at a time, which is usually enough to sell multiple items. If you are a dealer with a large inventory, the Pro pack (1,000 Connects) gives you more featuring power and premium search placement.

Step 5: Respond to Inquiries Fast

When a buyer taps "Inquire" on your listing, you get a notification and the conversation starts in Agrixia's built-in messaging. Respond within the first hour if possible. Our data shows that sellers who respond within 1 hour are 5x more likely to close a deal than those who take a day or more.

Use voice notes for faster communication, especially if typing is not your strong suit. You can also share additional photos, videos, and even voice/video call the buyer directly from the chat. All communication stays within the app, so you have a complete record of the negotiation.

  • Share your listing link on WhatsApp groups and Facebook pages for extra visibility
  • Update your listing if the price or condition changes

  • Ask satisfied buyers to leave a review on your profile
